I'm coming down with a cold, first one in a while.  The last time that I thought I was getting sick I took a couple multivitamins and felt much better the next day; this turned me from someone who scoffed at dietary supplements to a firm believer in a daily vitamin tablet.  This time the vitamins apparently weren't enough so I went to King Sooper's looking for the new miracle cure.  What I found was Cold Snap, an "herbal supplement".  I liked the name and liked the fact that the bottle said "herbal supplement" so I bought some.  When I got home I looked at the bottle a little closer and found that Cold Snap has "twenty herbs to restore righteous chi**", I immediately regretted my purchase.  I also looked at the footnote which said "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration".  What. The. Fuck.  It's 2007, you'd think that the FDA would have some benchmark for chi enhancement.  I need to be sure that my chi is being restored to righteous levels; isn't this why I pay taxes?  That's all, still sick, unsure of chi levels.
